Evan Ross, actor and musician, made his acting debut in ATL (2006). In 2010, Ross joined the cast of the CW’s teen drama series 90210 as Charlie Selby in the season 3 of The CW’s teen drama series 90210 and he later had a regular role as Angel Rivera in the season 2 of Fox’s musical drama series Star (2017-2019). Ross has appeared multiple films, including the thriller Linewatch with Cuba Gooding, Jr. (2008), the drama Gardens of the Night (2008), and the crime drama film Life Is Hot in Cracktown (2009) and the Hunger Games films. He was nominated for a Best Actor award from Black Reels in the critically acclaimed film festival winner Mooz-lum, also starring Danny Glover. He co-starred alongside Brittany Snow in the thriller 96 Minutes in 2012. Ross won the Breakout Acting Award at SXSW for his performance in the film. Ross played a comic role in Jeff, Who Lives at Home. In 2013, he portrayed music producer Dallas Austin in the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. He appeared in All the Wilderness (2014), the Courteney Cox-directed comedy-drama Just Before I Go (2014), and the drama Supremacy (2014). In 2014, Ross took on the role of Messalla in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. He reprised the role in Mockingjay – Part 2 in 2015. And he joined the cast of ABC’s crime drama series Wicked City, playing a major roles in that show as well as in FOX’s Star. The son of music icon Diana Ross, Evan performs and composes music, sometimes collaborating with his wife singer Ashlee Simpson. Evan’s recent film work includes The Curse of Buckout Road (Nominated for Best Actor at World Music’s Independent Film Festival as well as at the Nice International Film Festival) and She Ball (2021), The United States versus Billie Holiday (2021), The Loneliest Boy in the World (2022) and A Snowy Day in Oakland (2023).
