ELIZABETH SEARLE

Elizabeth Searle is co-writer of I’LL SHOW YOU MINE, a 2022 Duplass Brothers Productions feature film.  She adapted the script for A FOUR-SIDED BED from her own critically acclaimed novel. A FOUR- SIDED BED appeared on the Boston Globe Paperback Bestseller list and was nominated by the ALA as a best LGBTQ novel of the year, as well as being listed online as a Best Bisexual Love Story. The script has earned attention and awards at over 20 festivals or contests in 2019-2021, including the Quarterfinals in the 2020 Academy Nicholls Fellowship. A short film, FOUR-SIDED has screened at 2019 Festivals in Cannes, Shanghai, Boston, LA, Chicago, Pittsburgh and more. Elizabeth also created TONYA & NANCY: THE ROCK OPERA, based on the Harding/Kerrigan skating scandal: a show which has had multiple productions, including in Boston, LA, Chicago and NYC.  Both the rock opera and I’LL SHOW YOU MINE— which premiered at Seattle International Film Festival, 2022— have drawn strong reviews and national as well as international media.
