ELIZABETH SEARLE

Elizabeth Searle is co-writer of “I’ll Show You Mine,” a feature film from Duplass Brothers Productions (starring Poorna Jagannathan and Casey Thomas Brown) which was released in 2023 in select theaters, drawing strong reviews in the New York Times and more. The film is now widely available via VOD on home screens, including via AmazonPrime, Peacock and AppleTV. Elizabeth’s five books are: We Got Him, Girl Held in Home, Celebrities in Disgrace, A Four-Sided Bedand My Body to You, winner of the Iowa Short Fiction Prize. A Four-Sided Bed was a Boston Globe paperback bestseller and an ALA award nominee.  Searle has written two short films which have screened widely at festivals, including in Cannes, Boston, Sydney, Shanghai, Barcelona and Paris.  Her scripts have won recognition in numerous competitions, including Academy Nicholl and Massachusetts Independent Film Festival.  Elizabeth’s show, “Tonya & Nancy: the Rock Opera,” has been produced in Boston, LA, Chicago, NYC at NYMF and more.  The rock opera and Searle’s 2023 feature film “I’ll Show You Mine” have both drawn major media attention.  Elizabeth is represented by Manager and Producer Tammy Hunt of Sandstone Artists.
